What we collect, and what we do with it.

We only collect what you choose to give us, plus the basic technical information any website receives when a page is requested. Browsing the catalogue does not require an account and does not ask you for anything.

Information you give us

• Enquiries. When you use the enquiry panel or the contact form, we collect your name, your phone number, your message, and — so that we know what you were asking about — the name of the tile page you were viewing when you sent it.
• Email address. The contact form has an optional email field. If you fill it in, it reaches us as part of your message.
• Signing in. If you choose to create an account to save tiles, we collect your mobile number and verify it by sending you a one-time code by SMS. You may add your name at that point, or skip it.
• Account details, all optional. From your profile page you may add your name, an email address, a delivery address, and a GST number if you are buying for a business and need it on an invoice. None of these is required to use the site.
• Saved tiles. The tiles you mark as favourites. Before you sign in these are kept only in your own browser; once you sign in they are saved to your account so the list follows you between devices.
• Room photographs. If you use the tile visualiser, the photograph you upload is sent to the service that processes it so the tile can be previewed on your floor or wall. We do not ask for your name or number to use the visualiser.
• Recruitment information. If you apply for a position with us, we collect what you submit — typically your full name, phone number, email address, the position applied for, your work experience, your current location, and anything else you choose to tell us. See Recruitment information.
• Anything else you volunteer. If you send us additional details in a message, by WhatsApp, or over the phone, we hold what you have sent.

Information collected automatically

Like any website, this one is served by a hosting provider that records basic technical information about each request — for example the IP address it came from, the type of browser and device, which pages were requested, and when. This is used to serve the site, keep it available, and investigate faults or abuse.

Stated plainly, because a policy that lists only what we might do leaves you guessing about the rest:

• There is no analytics or tracking on this website. We do not use Google Analytics, a tag manager, an advertising pixel, or any other tool that profiles what you look at.
• There are no advertising or tracking cookies. See Cookies and browser storage for the little we do store.
• There is no payment processing on this website. There is no cart and no checkout, and we never ask for card or bank details here.
• We do not buy, sell or rent personal information.
• The newsletter field in the footer is not yet connected to any mailing list. Nothing entered there is stored or sent anywhere, and it tells you so when you use it.

We use the information described above to:

• Respond to your enquiries and answer your questions
• Contact customers and prospective customers about tiles, availability and orders
• Provide the information, quotations or services you have asked for
• Process applications for employment and contact candidates about opportunities
• Maintain your account and the list of tiles you have saved
• Operate features you choose to use, such as the tile visualiser
• Keep our own business records of enquiries and orders
• Improve how this website works and what it offers
• Keep the website and our systems secure, and investigate misuse
• Meet our legal and regulatory obligations, and resolve disputes if they arise

We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not profile your browsing.

Sadhguru Tiles advertises job openings and invites applications. Depending on how you apply, your details may reach us through a recruitment advertisement or lead form hosted on a social media or advertising platform, by email or WhatsApp, over the phone, or in person at the showroom. This website itself does not currently host a job application form.

However your application reaches us, we may use the information you submit to:

• Consider you for the position you applied for, and for other openings that may suit you
• Contact you about your application, arrange an interview, or ask for more detail
• Verify the experience and details you have given us, where that is appropriate
• Keep a record of applicants and of our own recruitment decisions

Please send only what is relevant to the role. There is no need to give us identity document numbers, bank details or other sensitive information at the application stage, and we do not ask for them.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

We do share information where it is reasonably necessary to run this website, handle what you have sent us, provide what you have asked for, keep our systems secure, carry out recruitment, or comply with the law. In practice that means:

• Service providers who operate parts of this website on our behalf — our hosting provider, and the cloud services that store enquiries and accounts and send the verification code when you sign in. See Third-party services.
• The advertising platform that hosts a recruitment lead form you submit, which passes your response to us and holds a copy under its own privacy policy.
• Our own team. Staff at the showroom see enquiries, orders and applications so they can act on them.
• Professional advisers such as accountants or legal advisers, where we need their help.
• Authorities or other parties where we are required to disclose information by law, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim or to protect the safety and rights of others.

If our business or part of it is ever transferred to another owner, information held about customers and enquiries may transfer with it.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold. This website is served over an encrypted connection; the database that holds enquiries and accounts is governed by access rules so that a visitor cannot read other people’s records; accounts are verified by a one-time code sent to your own mobile number; and the staff area of this site is separate from the public website and requires a staff sign-in.

No method of transmitting or storing information over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so while we work to protect your information we cannot promise absolute security. Please do not send us sensitive information, such as identity document numbers or bank details, through the forms on this website.

We keep information for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected for, and then for as long as we need it for our business records, to meet a legal or tax obligation, or to deal with a dispute. In practice:

• Enquiries and contact messages are kept while we deal with them and afterwards as a record of what was asked and answered
• Account details and saved tiles are kept while your account exists
• Recruitment information is kept while your application is considered, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case a suitable opening arises
• Records relating to orders and to our business accounts are kept for as long as the law requires

You can delete your own account at any time from your profile page, which removes the record we hold for it.

You are in control of what you send us. You do not need an account to browse the catalogue, and every field on the enquiry form beyond your name and phone number is optional.

Some things you can do yourself, without asking us:

• Edit or remove the name, email address, delivery address and GST number on your account from your profile page.
• Delete your account entirely from that same page.
• Remove saved tiles at any time, or clear your browser storage to clear a guest list.
• Ask us to stop contacting you about an enquiry, and we will.

You may also contact us about the personal information we hold about you — for example to ask what we hold, to have it corrected, or to ask us to delete it. Write to us using the details in Contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time. We will honour the rights available to you under applicable law, and we may need to verify who you are before acting on a request, or to keep certain information where the law requires us to.

This website relies on a small number of outside services. Each one processes only what it needs to do its job, and each has its own privacy policy:

• Google and Firebase. Firebase provides the database that stores enquiries and accounts, the file storage behind some images, and the sign-in service that sends your one-time SMS code and verifies it. Google’s reCAPTCHA runs during sign-in to check that the request comes from a person rather than a script.
• Our website hosting provider, which serves these pages and keeps the request logs described in Information we collect.
• The tile visualiser service, which receives the room photograph you upload and returns the preview.
• Social media and advertising platforms, where we advertise and where a recruitment lead form may be hosted. If you follow a link from this site to one of our social pages, or reach us through WhatsApp, that platform handles your use of it under its own policy.

Some of these providers operate servers outside India, so information sent to them may be processed outside India. We have no control over how a third-party platform you visit independently of this site handles your information, and this policy does not cover it.

We do not use cookies to track you, advertise to you, or measure your browsing. There is no advertising or analytics cookie on this website.

One cookie is used, and only for staff: when a member of our team signs in to the showroom’s internal area, a session cookie is set so that the system knows they are signed in. It expires after an hour and is never set for ordinary visitors.

The website does keep a few small items in your own browser’s storage, which stay on your device and are not tracking:

• The list of tiles you have saved as favourites, so the list survives a page reload before you sign in.
• A note that this browser has been signed in before, so the site knows whether it needs to load the sign-in code at all.
• A note that you have dismissed the sign-in prompt, so it does not reappear in the same tab.
• If you sign in, the sign-in service keeps your session in your browser so you are not asked for a code on every visit.

You can clear all of this at any time through your browser’s settings for this site. Clearing it signs you out and empties a guest favourites list.

This website is meant for people buying tiles and natural stone, and for candidates applying for work. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child without the authorisation of a parent or guardian.

If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us using the details below and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time — for example if we add a feature to the website, or change how an enquiry is handled. The current version is always published on this page, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.

If we make a significant change to how we use information you have already given us, we will take reasonable steps to make that clear rather than relying on a quiet edit.
